This post doesn't have a story or really a point behind it. No news... other than the fact that it's a snow day today.
*sigh* am I such a geek for loving to listen to orchestral/quartet/solo music? It's what I do on snow days. Or any free time I have. The occasional song on the radio might be kind of nice to me, maybe its lyrics can relate to me personally at the time being, but the mood of love songs can't last forever. I won't always be feeling like my "heart is bleeding" or whatever silly lyrics they have to describe pain and sorrow. They're suiting at times, but for me, the music with no lyrics can satisfy me all the time at any time, no matter what the mood.
Even the Danse Macabre on my playlist here.. it's supposed to be a creepy piece, kind of about death. But I LOVE it. Haha, it doesn't strike me as a depressing song. When I heard it for the very first time, I thought of excitement and fun, actually. (mind you, fun to me when I was younger involved setting up pranks and being sneaky, so maybe that's why I get fun out of it?) Am I messed up for that? Haha.
I remember when I was about 4 or 5, I had a computer game - Reader Rabbit's Reading Journey. There was a credit's page on the disk, and when it was up, it played the Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 (just the first part in this recording) and I would dance to it in a room all by myself because I LOVED it. I still love it.
Going back to the first question of this post, am I a geek? Well, if I am one, then so be it, I love being one!
That's all I have to say for now..
