What. A. Day.

It started around midnight when I discovered a bat in my room. We got rid of it and it survived leaving the room, whether or not it survived once it got outside is a mystery that nobody cares about. It either flew away or was eaten by an alley cat.
Had a dream/nightmare about this crazy dog at work that is almost impossible to get a choke chain around, let alone get into his cage to put it on him without him escaping. In the dream he broke my left hand while I was wrestling him (which has been oddly hurting all day in the spot that "broke" in the dream), and I was saying "My career is ruined! I can't play music anymore! Stupid dog! My hand is broken!" Not the greatest dream.
Today was just kind of crazy. Woke up, did the morning routine, went to work. Morning shift at work was fine, nothing too eventful (other than dealing with a bipolar cat that scratched up my arms and stomach). Went home for a quick lunch break, on my way back, 2 of the 4 brand new tires we just had put on my car at Wal*Mart went flat on me. I pulled over on Highway 20 under the Grandview bridge, called my work to let them know I'd be late, called dad, he and my mom came, dad stayed with my car to have it towed, mom took me to work. I was still pretty shaken up from having that happen to me, it was the first time I drove and got a flat, and I got 2 flats in a car that is very prone to rolling. (1995 ford explorer) So my heart is still pounding and I walk into work. First thing I get to do, pull out that crazy dog that I've had trouble with in the past and that broke my hand in the dream. Uggg. It took me about 3 solid minutes of wrestling with him to get him to stop jumping on me (oh and by the way, this dog is larger than me and weighs more than me), and it was just impossible, he did NOT want that choke chain on. I was still having anxiety from tires blowing out and the noise they made and being stuck and not knowing if things would be ok, and now this crazy animal just brought me to my peak. Had my mini anxiety attack for the month, got the dog out, and things went ok from there on out. Oh, except that this 8 week old puppy that I had to carry out peed all over my shirt and I still had work for another 3 1/2 hours. Just what I needed.
But other than that, I enjoyed work very much today. And I am now very sore and very tired.

Willy Wonka

Tonight we (being my family, plus family friends Marissa and Molly's boyfriend Kevin) went and saw the Bell Tower Theater Musical Production of Willy Wonka Junior. The Geltz family children in the ward were in it, with Brayden starring as Charlie. He did a very well job, I had never seen him perform before. Sally was Mrs. Gloop, Agustus Gloop's mother. She sang a solo and it was really funny and she did it very well. Though sometimes I think she tries just a little too hard on some higher pitches, she really did an excellent job tonight. It was all done by a whole bunch of kids probably 16 and younger (Willy Wonka had braces... :P), and it was very well done. I must say, all of the kids who got golden tickets in the story were excellent, with my 2 favorites being Violet (the gum chewer) and Mike (the TV/gamer kid). They were hilarious.
Great story, great production. Just thought I'd write it down!

Cars

We have 4 cars in the family, and as of today we now only have 2. The 2 biggest ones (that were also the least expensive... one we got for $500 and the other one was given to us by a family member), well, one's in the shop and one is currently sitting across the street, kind of.. dead. The dead one would belong to me, and I'm a bit sad that it might be really dead. It has over a quarter million miles on it (it used to belong to a guy who traveled across the midwest to do physical therapy for people who couldn't leave their homes). So it's possible that it is just that, just dead. I really hope it can be fixed, because what on earth will I do without a car. I have a job, I'm going to college, and I have a life. This really isn't cool.
So yeah, the Priest family of 7, 4 people who drive 3 of which have part time jobs this summer, and 3 kids who have appointments to be at, lessons to attend to and rehearsals and performances to be in, 2 cars really just isn't enough.
Not good!
and again, check out my other blog! Just click on my profile stuff on the right and it'll show 2 blog names, this one and my other one. :)

Long Time No Writing

because I've been writing on my personal blog which you can find on my little profile page thing. Aaand I can't get the program to load pictures without freezing, and my camera is not at home right now, it is at a friend's house because I accidentally left it there during the 4th of July. Once my camera is back in my possesion, I will upload some pictures and videos, assuming my computer agrees that loading pictures doesn't have to be a painful task.
In the mean time, I have more posts on my other blog.
